Founded by Mr Arvind Jain and Mr Ravindra Jain, Hotel Ranthambore Regency is a four-star resort of 75 rooms on Ranthambhore Road in Sawai Madhopur. Every zone of the national park can be reached from here, and the hotel arranges your jungle safari. Between drives there is the pool and the Pool Bar, the Dayana Spa, and Ingredients, our multi-cuisine restaurant. Wildlife photographers, tour groups, and holidaymakers all make it their base, and the aim has not changed: leisure, comfort and homely hospitality.

Dining
Our multi-cuisine restaurant seats 150 under Rajasthani décor, cooking Rajasthani, South Indian, Indian, Continental, and Chinese. Open from 7:00 AM, with buffets for breakfast (8:00 AM to 11:00 AM), lunch (1:00 PM to 3:00 PM), and dinner (7:30 PM to 10:00 PM).
For a drink, the Fuchsia Bar is a library lounge with fine wines and classic cocktails, and the Pool Bar sits out in the garden. Both are open 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The park sets the calendar here. Its core zones close through the monsoon and open again in October, and from then until March the weather is pleasant and the forest gives up its wildlife most readily, which makes it the best time to come.

Our team
Founded by Mr Arvind Jain and Mr Ravindra Jain and still in the family’s hands, the hotel is run by a team whose idea of hospitality is a simple one: make every stay a memorable one.
The naturalist knew which gate was worth the early start and said so plainly, including the morning he told us not to bother. We saw a tigress and two cubs at Zone 3 the next day.
Vegetarian and vegan food is perfectly normal in this kitchen rather than a concession, and they work their magic every evening. The standard is outstanding.
Thank you for accommodating a gluten-free diet without once making it a discussion. Authentic local food, and the kitchen simply got on with it. Highly recommended.
We came back from the drive at eleven and nobody hurried us through breakfast. The verandah outside the garden room did more for us than the room did.
Ten minutes to the gate, permits arranged the night before, and a gypsy waiting at half past five. Nothing about the morning was ours to organise.
The same family has run this for years and it shows in small things—the gardener naming the trees, nobody anywhere taking a tip.
