    Historical Walk to Ranthambore Fort

The Ranthambore fort, amongst its many wonders, recounts fascinating tales of the Maharajas of Jaipur, for whom hunting in the adjoining forests was a pleasurable sport. This former royal residence is now peppered with ruins frequented by the Bengal Tiger, providing an ideal backdrop for photographers looking to capture the splendor of this fort and its new royalty, the Tiger. The langur monkeys who call this architectural wonder of seemingly endless sets of stone steps home, join you on your ascent as you learn about its ancient stories. Mesmerising views of the vast tiger reserve are seen from the fort’s summit, 700 feet above the surrounding meadows. When exploring the fort’s interior, you may come upon as many as eleven magnificent Hindu and Jain temples that are revered by devotees across the country. The main tourist attraction is the Ganesha temple, which attracts thousands of pilgrims year after year.
